Breastfeeding in Public Luvs Funny Commercial YouTube Video.

Newsflash!  It turns out humans are  mammals.  That means moms have boobies that, if the mother chooses to, can be used to feed her young for free.  Despite what doctors told our parents and grandparents, mother's milk is not rotten or not good for the child and mom's milk is not starving her baby of necessary nutrients.  And, as some YouTube commenters like to point out, mothers milk will not cause your baby to get low on potassium.  Those YouTube commenters are scary people.

Now, daddy's nipples on the other hand will cause your baby to starve.  The only thing my daddy nipples can do when baby Zachary grabs for them is make funny honking noises and blow air in his face that makes him break out in uncontrollable laughter.  I'm convinced God made daddy nipples for the sole purpose of distracting baby from  mommy long enough so she can make more milk.

I can't say I'd have the patience to breastfeed day and night, day and night, day and night.  It wasn't always easy and there were times where it seemed hopeless.  Our community has an amazing nonprofit resource in Milkworks that provides help for breastfeeding mother.  Whether you're dirt poor or loaded with cash, they have the resources to help mothers succeed.  I wish every community had the same.   But Mrs Happy is amazing for her dedication.   Zachary loves his nursies.    17 months and counting.  Her dedication blows my mind.    And yes, he does eat regular food too.  Lots of it. He's a pig.

The enormous benefits of breast milk are underestimated by our culture of convenience.  And those folks that offer up their twisted pinhole view of breastfeeding have never traveled the world to see how natural mothers nursing their children  is everywhere else in this world.  Remember, we're mammals, not the robots corporate culture has turned us into.

This world is not made for mothers working  outside of the home. As a stay at home mom, I tell Mrs Happy her is job is 10 times more important than the nonsense I deal with on a daily basis. She is the one really making a difference in this world.   Thanks to you and all the breastfeeding mothers out there for your dedication to your child.   While Zachary is our first child, I'm pretty confident we've moved on, mentally,  to the second, third and forth  child already.  Check out this funny Luvs breastfeeding commercial for a grounded perspective.
