Physician Data Restriction Program: Free Sign-Up Information.

Do you every get tired of pharmaceutical drug representatives hunting you down to pimp you on how many prescriptions you've written for their really expensive, but marginally effective drug that offers limited clinical value?  Well, look no further.  The AMA is advertising  their Physician Data Restriction Program (PDRP) in medical magazines.  I came across an advertisement of theirs in the American Medical News for their PDRP program.  I went to the website and I signed up.  It took less than 5 minutes to complete the process and I received an email (that I found in my spam folder) confirming my registration but not requiring any additional action by myself.

If you'd like pharmaceutical drug representatives to stop accessing your prescribing habits, simply go to the AMA website,  enter your name and state and an email for confirmation and you'll be a proud member of the Occupy Pharmacy movement.

Step one, enter your name, state and date of birth

Then, enter your email address

And you're done. You'll get an email that requires no further action on your part to confirm your participation
