It turns out that sleeping in the same bed with your dog, cat or other pet might be dangerous. So says a new study from the journal Emerging Infectious Diseases. The article does admit that the risk is low, considering the number of people that sleep with their pets. In fact, I believe the risk of contracting a disease from sleeping in the same bed as your dog is probably lower than it is from sleeping in the same bed with your husband or wife.
