Here are some pictures from that massive 2011 Atlanta snow storm. It was a doozy! My sister lives in Atlanta. She tells me there was a run of snow storm survival foods at the grocery store, including the must have for any big storm: beer and bananas. Well, 'round these Midwest parts, we use massive John Deere snow plow tractors to clear our grocery store parking lots. Just take a look at this picture below. That's how we do things in the Midwest. To be honest though I can't say I've seen one of these rigs clearing the parking lots at my hospital. I know I could sure use one of these for my driveway! I'm not sure this John Deere snow plow tractor would have done much good
clearing some of Atlanta's streets. That snow storm wasn't exactly a
job for this powerful piece of equipment. I think a snow plow like
this would just scare people down there in the South. In fact, I even
caught a video of this big John Deere tractor spinning on ice as it tried to clear a parking lot. Wow! I couldn't believe my eyes. Now that's power!
