I'm wondering just how safe the carousel at Disney's Magic Kingdom theme park really is. Happy and his family took a Christmas trek down to Florida late last year to check out Disney and all that it has to offer. I snapped this picture of EMS personnel and their stretcher standing right by the Magic Kingdom carousel.
I can't say I've ever thought of the Magic Kingdom carousel as being dangerous. But then again, with Americans getting larger and more out of shape, it is quite possible the EMS arrived to assist one of the horses on the carousel. Perhaps one of them got a painful vertebral compression fracture and had to be transported to the vet hospital at Animal Kingdom for emergency stabilization.
That seems more likely.
