March 30th is Doctor's Day. What did I get for my special Doctor's Day? I got food. But not just any food. I got heart attack food. I wonder if the cardiologists had anything to do with the menu.
Breakfast Menu: Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Hash browns. Not pictured are piles of donuts. I think there is enough salt and fat to knock off at least a couple general surgeons and maybe a nephrologist or two. As for the hospitalists, we're made of iron. Nothing can knock us off.
Lunch Menu: The menu looked like a five star offering of fine dining: Chicken Sesame, Vegetable Lasagna, a nice Spring Vegetable Blend with a fine assortment of fruit and dessert. So let's take a look, shall we? Here are the pictures of a Doctors' Day lunch. The chicken. The veggies. The lasagna. The fruit. The Salads. Not bad, but full of an incredible amount of salt and fat. The fruit and vegetable were nice. All in all, it was a cardiac heaven.
