Airlines Charging More for Obese/Fat Customers. What Do You Think?

3 Outbursts:

  1. More Power to them. I try my best as a fat person to sit away from anyone to not cause that kind of uncomfortable flight. I'd gladly buy two seats if it meant I could fly without bothering someone. I like though that they don't force you to buy two seats unless it's needed because the flight is totally full.

  2. Reality is sometimes unpleasant but it doesn't change the fact that some people don't fit in one seat.

They charge me for my extra luggage - what's the difference?

  3. If someone requires more than one seat, they should pay for more than one seat, or reimburse adjacent passengers on a pro-rated basis for the amount of overflow into the other passengers' seats. As an alternative, put a special extra-charge soundproofed section at the rear of the airplane to handle the morbidly obese and families with obnoxious kids.
