Airline Compensation Rules After a Crash Landing.

What are the airline compensation rules for passengers who experience an act of God that almost kills them?  Imagine you are alive after surviving a plane crash into the Hudson. A plane crash as a result from an act of God after striking a flock of geese.   Would you thank your lucky stars and congratulate the pilot and crew for saving you? Would you leave it at that?

What if the airline offered you a one year pass as super elite status. A gesture, of course they have no obligation to provide. Would you be thankful for their generosity?

Of course you wouldn't. You are an American.

  1. i guess having your life saved in an accident that was an "act of god" isn't good enough...I'm actually waiting for the lawsuits to come...hope those geese have a good defense lawyer

  2. Sometimes I'm ashamed to be an American.
