Oral Sex In The Hospital? It Happens.

Oral sex in the hospital?  That's what the DOJ is alleging occurred at Kings County Psychiatric Hospital in New York
If you remember, that's the same hospital with the infamous video of the lady lying on the floor dying with everyone minding their own business.

Pay slum wages to a hospital and their staff and you get slum care. Perhaps a lesson to be learned. Fear a government take over of your health care at all costs. This is the government worker mentality at its finest. Don't ask, don't care.

5 Outbursts:

  1. "Pay slum wages to a hospital and their staff and you get slum care."

Kings Country is one of New York City's 11 Hospitals and also the main hospital for SUNY (State University of New York) Downstate Medical School. People here are paid the same as at the other New York City hospitals where these sorts of problems don't occur.
For one thing it is a massive 3,000 bed hospital that serves a very poor patient population. I'm not making excuses but I'm simply saying that more is involved that one might initially think.

  5. As a nurse contractor who is currently working a contract @ a state facility, and one who has contracted @ other state facilities, and found the care in BOTH of these state facilities FAR superior to any private facility I have ever worked in, I have a problem with your statement:

"Fear a government takeover of your healthcare @ all costs. This is the government worker mentality @ it finest. Don't ask, don't care."

The care in the hospital you cited is horrifying. It is not about whether it is a private or public facility. I would be DELIGHTED to have any family member or beloved friend treated in the state facility in which I am working.

I would also be delighted to have them treated in a VA medical center in which I worked.

The heinous care you report occurred in ONE facility. You have made a vast statement indicting ALL non-private facilities from this single case.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. And grossly untrue.
