Government bureaucracy at its finest. How long does it take to change a government light bulb? If you think health care would be any different, think again. I have lived the VA experience. Painful, painful, painful.
Now, here's a picture of a city street light bulb being changed. Cool stuff.

Of course then again there is a "government" light bulb in a fire station in San Fran that has been going since 1901.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of this change a light bulb joke: How many New Yorkers does it take to change a New York City light bulb? One, but it must be a nudnik that calls dozens of times and still takes an entire year to change.
ReplyDeleteHH,
I'm sent you the article and a couple of days before I saw it I heard a resident in the Old City of Jerusalem complaining about how many times he had to call the city government about changing a burnt out light bulb. He told me the taxes he pays, etc. and how if the light bulb had gone out in the city center it would have been changed in one day so it was very funny to see this article.
