Just A Nurse

So I'm out shopping the other day and I happen upon an old neighbor of mine who says:

You're a twin aren't you.

I said yes I am.  How do I know you?  She said I used to deliver her newspaper, about 25 years ago.Who the heck remembers their paperboy from 25 years ago?  Apparently this lady.  Anyway,  I was impressed.  A little nice small talk.  She asked me what I was doing these days.  I told her I was a doc.  She said,  she knew it. That I was always so smart.  Then she threw me for a loop.  She said her daughter is in school to be "just a nurse."

Nobody is "just a nurse."

Doctors save lives.  Nurses save doctors and lives.

  3. Thanks, Happy!
I am blessed to have a great working relationship with four physicians in a skilled nursing facility. It's uplifting to be able to have a discussion regarding our residents' best interest and know that my input as a nurse is valued.
