Add another record to my book for the lowest pH ever survived by a patient. They had diabetic ketoacidosis and they weren't on a ventilator.
pH 6.83Damn. Noncompliance can kill you, but it didn't this time.



I saw a 6.45. On a vent, did kill them, a few hours later.

ReplyDeletedka'ers, as long as they're young, seem to pull through. even without a vent.
anybody else, all bets are off.
