  4. You're of the lucky ones Drackman! There are all sorts of things that contribute to obesity besides the amount you eat. Just saw a headline about vitamin D deficiency and obesity, although it's not sure which causes the other yet. I think SLU is studying how the bacterial mileau in your gut affects how much calories you get out of something where folks can eat the same thing and one derives more calories than the other due to the type of bacteria one has. Yes, the amount you eat has a big effect, but it's not the only fator.

  6. As a long time collie person, I love this image and have it as one of my alternate computer backgrounds.

The Eat 'n Park Happy Cookie Collie's expression reminds me so much of my late great collie, Dino - he was one jolly old coot. The expressions of the Burger King and McDonald's collies tell me that they're not keen about their costumes but if their owner wants them to sit & pose, by golly, they are going to sit & pose. The Dunkin Donut collie is also determined to be good but I can see the questioning look in his face, wondering why his owner is doing this to him. The owner better have rewarded these 4 collies very well for their patience & tolerance.

For a Halloween time therapy dog visit several years ago, my Zeffie wore her flower costume (basically a substantial collar with giant petals & sepals ). She was, obviously, a "Collie-Flower."
