Journalists aren't going to kill someone if they do their job poorly...or even if they do their job and bad stuff happens despite an excellent job.
Don't get me wrong, I respect them and understand their necessity within our society. My college roomie edited our school paper at a Big 10 school. But educationally, emotionally, and mentally surgery is much harder. I don't say physically although it takes much stamina to get through some cases, I am aware that some stories require physical strength and stamina as well.

ReplyDeleteThat's just plain false. I submit that the Iraq war was mainly brought about by journalistic malpractice and it's killed a whole bunch of people.
