My New Weekend Dress Code

I find myself wondering time and time again,  how long was I hypothyroid?  I think back to the years and years I have had dry skin.  I think back to my elbows, so rough and dry  that they looked like a smokers face.  Now, a remarkable feat is at hand.  In less than 2 months,  my elbows are human again.  No longer do they frighten little kids.  I can only imagine the horror they must experience.

And my elbows were expensive.  I went through multiple dress shirts. Every one of them ripped in my left elbow. Expensive (for me) ones.  They lasted less than two months.  Lucky for me the store, the epitome of customer service, took all 6 of them back and replaced them with new ones.  No questions asked.

Well, I offered  my explanation anyway.  It must have been a  bad batch of material I said.  The salesman thought I was nuts.  I was the only guy bringing back these nice quality dress shirts.  I didn't tell him about my elbows.   I didn't think it was pertinent.  Until know.  Know, I'm pretty sure it was pertinent.

I still have one left with a ripped elbow laying on the floor in my closet.  After returning 6 of them, I just don't have the heart to take the last one back.  I think I'll just eat the cost. Maybe  I'll turn it into a cut off dress shirt.  And wear it on weekends.

2 Outbursts:

  1. Wondering about the past won't quench the thirst of how you got into this predicament. You need to let the thirst go... if your goal is proper placement and moving forward.
