I don't live anywhere near California. I come from where it's cold outside. And they just hate the cold weather.

Well OBVIOUSLY Marty doesn't want to go because no one has put on his SWEATER! When I had a maltese I had a green cableknit wool sweater with fake leather buttons to put on him when the temps dipped below 30.
